3. Ratings & Real Reviews

“We booked the 3 nights Terrace Suite package through the website and it was worth every cent. The package includes 2 way airport hotel transfer, a complimentary dinner, daily breakfast, a 60 min massage for 2, and a choice of half day tour for 2. The terrace pool suite was amazing. It is rustic in design, spacious with a King size bed, polished wooden floor boards, has a separate toilet and shower, a bathtub in the room, and a outdoor spa bath on the very spacious terrace with deck chairs. Being our anniversary trip the room was decorated to welcome us and we were assigned a host to contact for our every need. The selection of food for breakfast is diverse and catered to every taste. The hotel has 4 pools with one of them being a salt water pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially our host Tu, who always went out of her way to help us by arranging tours, providing information on food and tourist places and also responding to our queries even though she was on her meal break or off duty. The environment was very tranquil and peaceful. Situated at the end of the street next to a rice paddock, it was on the same street to ancient town. It is quiet but the flip side was that it’s a good 10-15 mins walk to town.. fine if weather is good but being July, the walk in 35C heat can be brutal. However, the hotel does run complimentary shuttle bus service to and from town and An Bang beach but the schedule is not very regular.. 3 a day. All in it is a beautiful hotel and very well set up like a resort. Highly recommend.”

“I chose La Siesta because the amazing experience I had in Hanoi, and could not be better. The facilities, the quality of finishes and the design are wonderful. Service as well in Hanoi deserves to stand out, especially Hang, she was perfect in every way. The things that I liked the most were: 1. location, far enough from the noisy downtown but walking distance (they have a free bus service to city downtown and the An Bang beach) 2. The four pools and Spa, just marvelous 3. Breakfast is much better than Hanoi, many local options as well as occidental. 4. Good level of guest, respectful even those who where in a group (very hard to find in Asia) Congratulations and thanks for such an amazing stay.”

“The defining quality of this hotel is its customer service. Practically everyone we met was warm and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Every morning at breakfast, guest relations staff like Thuan would come by our table to find out how we were doing, give us recommendations and answer our questions. Our main host was guest relations officer Hoang who connected with me on WhatsApp so he could be our mobile concierge for anything we needed during our stay. And I was glad for it. One evening, on Thuan’s recommendation, we ended up at a great little restaurant called Mrs Tam located a short taxi ride away but on a fairly quiet and untouristy street which meant we couldn’t get a Grab after dinner. Tired after a long and hot day, I messaged Hoang who promptly called us a taxi. We stayed in a family room in the classic (older) wing which was very clean and comfortable, if a little simply furnished. We had hot showers on demand and strong air conditioning which is a must in Hoi An in May-June. The TV had Netflix so we could log into our account and chill at night. The walls can be a bit thin though, so we could hear our neighbours at times. The property is made up of a few connected blocks and is very charming with lush greenery. There are also a few pools including the main pool (the largest) and a kids pool which gave me visibility of my kids when I was in the fairly well-equipped gym. If there is one drawback to staying at La Siesta, it would be the location. It’s about a 15-min walk from old town which is not far, but In the heat, it can be a slight chore. Thankfully, you can use the hotel’s bicycles or simply call a Grab/taxi. Breakfast at Red Bean restaurant was nice. The buffet spread was the same every day, but tasty and had a good mix of local and continental. Wait staff were also super friendly, especially Nam. When we left for an upmarket resort at Cua Dai beach, we quickly missed the warmth of La Siesta and its people who really made us feel at home.”

“We were fortunate to heed Quynh’s recommendation from Siesta Hotel in Hanoi, and our decision to follow her advice led us to an unforgettable experience at this remarkable resort. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we knew we were in the right place. The warm welcome set the tone for an extraordinary stay. The inviting pool provided the perfect oasis for a refreshing swim, and sipping on tropical cocktails in the water was a truly delightful experience. The seafood BBQ and breakfast buffet were beyond compare, taking our taste buds on an exquisite journey. The impeccable service provided by the friendly Hau added an extra layer of beauty to our stay. What’s more, the resort’s prime location just a 15-minute walk from the enchanting old town of Hoi An made exploring the area a breeze. The stunning view of the rice fields further added to the allure of this place. We’re already looking forward to our next visit, planning to extend our stay to two weeks or more, to fully immerse ourselves in the serene atmosphere and relish in the breathtaking surroundings.”

“We enjoyed our stay however the rooms were a bit of a disappointment. Our first rooms had very outdated bathrooms. The best part of the hotel is the grounds and all the swimming pools and the service is good too. Location is quite good we used the E-cars to get to the old city.”

“Great rooms and service but definetely not noise proof, could hear next door babies crying all night”

“Very cute hotel with beautiful grounds, lush layout and very nice pools to relax in. The staff are lovely. In particular, the assistant executive manager accompanied me across the street to the laundry place to translate, also Troung( I may not be spelling that correctly) at the Red Bean was very nice. The breakfast is tasty. And the poolside French baguettes were delicious! The only thing I didn’t love was the room itself. We had a superior room (or something like that) with a balcony in the main building (room 401) and it was small. It was also rather dark at night, I wish they had more lamps. Further given that it is an older building, the sound insulation isn’t great which means you can hear everything going on in the hallways and even in the neighbors room if they are noisy – woke me up a few times in the early mornings.”
