“We had snapper which according to my standard it’s above 80% general restaurants level. Morning glory very tasty and crunchy. Service very efficient. Price is marvelous. No wonder it’s rated as no 6 in Hoi An. The humble female boss called it just a local restaurant but it’s full of foreign customers. What would I do when I find restaurants like that? “Delicious food with chef specials you won’t find anywhere else! Many local dishes as well as some western but I highly recommend something off the chefs special menu. Air conditioning or outside on their patio, you will have a lovely evening ✨”
“Good, not amazing, especially for the higher tourist prices.
The white rose was underwhelming, with 98% of it being just dumpling skin and completely dependent on the sauce for flavor. The morning glory was well cooked and seasoned, a tasty vegetable add-on to the meal. The squid was good, and again, well cooked, but nothing different from most other restaurants. Our fried noodle dish was limp, overcooked, and soaked in sauce – which is on par with panda express.
It’s not entirely fair to stand here and critique prices as a foreigner, but compared to other restaurants in hoi an, you can do a lot better in terms of atmosphere or food quality for these menu prices.”
“Read the reviews and had to try. Although it was a 45 minute walk, it was worth it. Clearly popular with tourists we were greeted warmly. The menu has some fantastic foods available. Had to try the passion fruit chicken so ordered that first. We continued with our order and the host stopped and said we were ordering too much and there was no need. This was great after being ripped off in Saigon it was nice to see staff who knew what they were talking about. We had our meal and drinks and desert and left full, without being over charged. The restaurant has spaces outside and in. Colourful laterns adorn the outside and interesting lights on the inside. Tables are clean and come with soy sauce, hot sauce, chop sticks, forks and spoons. The host speaks good English but the the menu is in English and vietnamese. There is vegetarian options for those that want. Beers, soft drinks and fruit juices are availble (try the fresh mango). WiFi is freely available. The host was super attentive to all the customers. Prices are very reasonable for the food and drinks, especially after HCMC. I went because of the reviews, now its your turn!”
“It was a really great meal. My partner had vegetable cao lau and I had steamed clams with lemongrass and chilli. Everything had a balanced depth of flavor, and the clams were something I wouldn’t soon forget. I chose spicy and the heat was just right. The vegetable spring rolls were pretty good, but the texture was a bit off, although I prefer nuoc cham over soy sauce, but I think that’s because it was the vegetable version (although I’m sure they would have given me some if I’d asked for it). I highly recommend you go! The quality for the price was very good and the service was excellent.”

When we asked about menu she kindly explained everything and the food was so nice especially eggplant with lemongrass and fried wonton.
