“Perfect hotel in a perfect location. The room: our room had a small balcony overlooking the street and houses. It offered a great vibe and you felt like you were connected to Vietnamese life. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, the shower was hot with great water pressure and the room spacious. The pool: two pools, one rooftop and one by the river. Both managed impeccably by the staff. The staff : It is obvious that the management of this Hotel are if top quality because the staff go above and beyond to serve. During our one week stay there was not one staff member that didn’t greet us when passing. A special thank-you to Liz at the front desk – a gift to this hotel and King at the concierge desk – perfect customer service. Location: out of the Old Town but just 5 mins walk away. Day Spa and Restaurant – both top notch Value for money – 5 ⭐️. Thank you Bel Marina.”

 “Fantastic stay at the Bel Marina for 4 nights in Hoi An. An exceptional hotel which makes your experience in Hoi An luxury, stylish and has all the best amenities.Fantastic hotel stay; first class experience from the hotel and all staff involved. Staff were friendly, welcoming and willing to go above and beyond! The room was modern, spacious and luxurious and had all the amenities we needed with the bathroom and beeroom all being in one open space. The bed was huge; super king and incredibly comfy; ideal for a good nights sleep. The hotel had a fantastic restaurant for breakfast with a huge spread suitable for all dietary requirements! The gym was modern and airconditioned, but does get very hot during the day ideal for a workout when trying to dodge the sun. The pool and pool bar in the water including happy hour between 3 and 6pm everyday was amazing! Walking from the hotel to Hoi An took 10-15 minutes and there are plenty of good restaurants and drinks places around. Overall, 5 stars and would highly recommend this hotel to others!”

 “ Positives: Love the location, just a few minutes walk to old town and night market. Hotel is right next to the river, so try to book a room that overlooks the pool and river. Food was high-quality, the included breakfast was exceptional. Rooms were spacious and well equipped, especially our upgraded room (see below). Above all, the staff were well trained and all of them displayed excellent customer service. 
 Negatives: The main thing to complain about was a very strong moldy smell from the room air conditioner. On our second night we shut off the air conditioner and left the patio opened a crack, and it was fine. The bathroom could do with some hooks for hanging clothes and towels. 
 We also had an issue where we booked the airport transfer from DAD to the resort, weeks in advance, but on the day of, no one showed up. We waited 30-40 minutes (the time it took for them to dispatch a car right away I guess). We complained via direct email, and they showed exceptional customer service by upgrading our room, and giving us a complimentary transfer back to Da Nang. On that note, we felt while it was a deficiency on the hotel’s part (not a failure on any one person, but rather a reflection of a lack of team effort), the fact they tried hard to rectify the situation is indicative of the highest quality of customer service. I would especially like to give praise to Ms. Le and Ms. Nguyen in the Reservations dept for fixing the situation to our satisfaction. We would very definitely recommend Bel Marina, and would come back again the next time we’re in Hoi An.”

“Staying at Hoi An Silk Marina. Everyone is very friendly and the hotel and pool are beautiful. However we have had quite a few issues, mostly small but have added up to reduce the quality of the experience. The hotel advertises itself online as having both showers and a bathtub in every room, however this is only in suites. When mentioned to staff there is nothing they could do to give us what was advertised and ended up in a room move to a shower only since the bathtub was unusable to shower. On the second day we requested the rooms be cleaned, this did not happen and required another conversation with the front desk. The gym is being repaired/under construction – we booked a hotel transport to get us there and back. When trying to get back the hotel transport didn’t show up and the hotel sent a taxi, however the taxi was not paid for so we had to pay for this. In our two rooms the safes did not work and we had to call maintenance to fix this – another inconvenience. Finally the hotel recommended the Hoi An Memories show, this show is the biggest scam in Hoi An – we ended up not seeing it and spending over 2 hours arguing with the staff at the show as the upgrade we were guaranteed when booking was not a real upgrade. Ultimately the hotel is nice, rooms are large and beds are comfortable however I would expect significant challenges with it that reflect on the ultimate quality and experience – taking away from a dream leisurely holiday and making it more of a laborious inconvenience ridden trip.”
